Town is a local discovery app. Nearby shops, restaurants, gyms, salons, places to rent — everything worth knowing about, in one place.
What we're building
The most common way to find out what's in your city is still to ask someone. Which shop is open right now, what the new café down the lane actually serves, whether the salon nearby is any good — there's no reliable place to look any of it up.
That's the place Town is building. Not a list of names, addresses and phone numbers — what's inside a place, whether it's open now, and what you'll actually find there.
Local and Global — both
Town runs in two modes, and you choose which one you're in. Local shows you what's immediately around you. Global lets you browse anywhere in the world — you can walk through a Dhaka neighbourhood two weeks before your first trip there, the same way you'd browse your own.
Neither one is the main thing with the other bolted on. Both have been part of Town from the start.
For businesses
Any business will be able to open its own page on Town — name, photos, address, opening hours, and what you offer. It's a small job, a few minutes.
But Town is not a tool for running a business. Orders, stock, accounts, staff — none of that is here. Town does one job: help people find you. A separate app for actually running your business is coming, though its date isn't fixed yet.
Where we are right now
Town has not launched. We're aiming for August 10, 2026, across Bangladesh — not Dhaka only.
